Dressed Up From The Garden

Rice is always a good place to start for a meal. In this case, I added a sliced sausage then hit the garden for the rest of the ingredients.

One cup of rice/two cups of water
Two cups of grape tomatoes
One diced yellow onion
One small green bell pepper
One small orange bell pepper.
One sausage (sliced) or feel free to use whatever protein you prefer.

Once the rice was on to cook, I added the onion and bell peppers to make sure they cooked fully with the rice.

About five minutes before the rice was ready, I added the tomatoes and the sliced sausage.

Once the rice is finished, it is ready to serve. Salt, pepper, and season to taste. Add a roll or other bread and enjoy.
